ANNOUNCING THE NUS EXTRA CARD
YOUR PASSPORT TO STUDENT DISCOUNTS!
OUSA has negotiated with the NUS to provide the NUS Extra card to its members. This new deal brings even more discounts for OU students, partly because it also incorporates the exclusive ISIC card (International Student Identity Card) which has been difficult for many OU students to obtain. What does this mean for students? Well to start with it is proof of identity that is acceptable in OU exams, but possibly more importantly (and more enjoyable) it gives student discounts on a wide range of things from clothes to car insurance, and pizza to phone calls. It can also be used online in places such as Amazon.co.uk, which is great for those set books! At a cost of just £10 per year this could be considered a bargain! Your free of charge OUSA membership cards will also still be available at the social meetings at the end of each month; just bring along a passport sized photograph and the enrolment letter Contact the branch Secretary Nick for more information.
